TEMPIL 218 DEG CELSIUS TEMPILSTIK Temperature Marker
Tempil sticks are chalk-like products containing chemicals with a known melting point.
It melts when it reaches the temperature indicated on the case.
AWS D1.1: ASME Code, Section I, III and VIII: Complies with the temperature conditions of ANSI / ASME Code B31.1 and 31.3 standards.
The error of the indicated temperature is guaranteed within ± 1% of the indicated temperature.
It does not use lead or sulfur as the main component.
Due to its high density, it lasts a long time.
Since each temperature is color-coded, it is easy to distinguish the indicated temperature.
The holder holds the tempil stick firmly and does not slip during work.
Prepare a tempil stick that meets the minimum and maximum welding temperatures of the metal to be welded.
Check the intersection of 10 mm from the groove shoulder and the center of the weld length with two types of tempil sticks.
In the case of the preheating temperature, the optimum temperature is when the lowest temperature choke melts and the highest temperature choke does not melt.
In the case of inter-pass temperature, after the first pass, the temperature of the base metal rises and the highest temperature choke melts.
The optimum temperature for starting the second pass is when the choke at the lowest temperature melts without melting the choke at the highest temperature after leaving the cooling time.
General temperature during welding, heat treatment temperature such as quenching, quenching, tempering, etc., temperature with silver brazing, soft brazing, etc., interpass temperature during steel frame welding, welding temperature of each part of nuclear plant, pipe welding, residual stress removal Temperature at the time, welding, forging temperature, drawing process temperature, punching die temperature
How To Use
Touch the temper stick to a heated or heated object.
If the temper stick melts, the temperature of the measurement surface is above the indicated temperature, and if it does not melt, you can see that it is below the indicated temperature.
If you use two temper sticks with different temperature indications, you can measure the exact vertical width.
