The SKF SYSTEM 24 is a single-point automatic lubricator, which can be used to supply grease to a single lubrication point. Automatic lubricators can be set to ensure that the correct quantity of lubricant is delivered over a set time period using an inert gas cell. This lubrication procedure allows more accurate control of the amount of lubricant supplied, compared to traditional manual relubrication techniques. The units (dependent on type) contain 60 ml or 125 ml of grease or oil and they are suitable for many lubrication applications. The nominal dispensing period can be set between 1 and 12 months and can also be temporarily deactivated if necessary.
