Directions
Cut the damaged section: Use a sharp knife or hose cutter to remove the torn or damaged part of the hose. Make sure to cut straight across to ensure a good seal.
Prepare the hose: After cutting, ensure that the ends of the hose are smooth and clean. If necessary, trim any rough edges to make it easier to insert into the connector.
Insert the hose into the repair connector: The Hozelock repair connector typically has two ends where you slide the cut ends of the hose into each side. Insert each hose end into the connector until it fits snugly.
Secure the hose: Tighten any clamps or fittings that may come with the connector to secure the hose. The clamp ensures the hose stays attached to the connector, preventing any leaks.
Test the repair: Turn the water on to check if the hose is no longer leaking. If everything is sealed properly, you should have a fully functional hose again.
