ASTM F2413 This standard is the North American specification for the performance of protective footwear. The CAT P91816 meets the following ASTM requirements: 

• Impact and Compression (I/C 75): The steel toe cap is rated to protect the feet from impact (equivalent to a 75-pound object dropped from a height of 18 inches) and compression (up to 2,500 pounds of force).
• Electrical Hazard (EH): The boot is constructed to provide a secondary source of protection against live electrical circuits, rated for up to 600 volts in dry conditions.
• Slip Resistance: The boot's outsole is designed to reduce the risk of slips and falls on low-traction surfaces. 

EN ISO 20345 (European Standard) As an international product, the Striver XL also conforms to the European safety standard, specifically holding an S3 rating, which includes several key protections: 

• Impact and Compression: All EN ISO 20345 footwear is required to have a protective toecap that can withstand a 200-joule impact and a 15kN compression force.
• Penetration Resistance (P): The steel midsole offers protection against sharp objects penetrating the sole from below.
• Closed Heel (S1, S2, S3): Provides a defined heel region and energy absorption in the heel area.
• Water Resistance (WRU or WPA): The boot's upper is resistant to water penetration and absorption.
• Oil Resistance (FO): The outsole is resistant to fuel and oil.
• Slip Resistance (SRC): The boot has been tested for slip resistance on both ceramic tile with a soap solution and on steel with glycerol.
