- 3M™ electrical insulating tape no. 69 consists of a fabric glass as a backing with a thermosetting silicone adhesive.
Properties
- Elastic, good tear resistance, very good thermal stability, flame-retardant adhesive for use at high temperatures (UL-approved to 200 °C).
- Printable and flame retardant to UL 510.
Application
- As a cable fixing, a cover band on coils and transformers, and for terminal and crossover insulation.
Storage
- Adhesive tapes should always be stored in a cool, dry place at approx. 20°C and 50-60% relative humidity.
- The storage period should not exceed 6 months.
